Background
One of the main conditions for the development of the country is proper planning. Proper planning is necessary for proper planning. The statistics will be as accurate as planning for the policy makers and making the decision easier. After the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, after understanding the importance of statistics on planning, development and progress in Bangladesh, the result of the far-reaching idea of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and in his direction, in August 1974, under the various ministries, four statistical offices (under the Ministry of Planning) Bureau, Agriculture Ntranalayera under the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics and the Census of Agriculture Census Commission and the Ministry of Interior under the Commission), who merged to create the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics. The responsibility of the Bureau of Statistics is to provide the most accurate information available for preparing the country's development plans and administrative activities. Apart from this, Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics has been working regularly to collect, compile and publish various information for planners, government and non-government organizations, various international organizations and public use for the development of national and local parades. On the other hand, the Department of Statistics and Information Management sets out all the policies related to national statistics and undertakes necessary activities for the implementation of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics.

Changes in structural and systemic changes in the last three years have created a new trend in the past three years, as the customary trend that has been sustained in the long-term activities of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics. 01) Collection, compilation, editing, publishing and publishing quality and timely statistics for any matter;
2) Provide standardized and user friendly statistics according to demand of development planners, policy-makers, research and educational institutions, national and international organizations and other users in the public sector;
3) Integration with the main section of the adoption of the statistical process and the introduction of the National Statistical Strategy Paper (NSDS), the development of the National Statistical System;
4) Integrated activities of collection, processing and publication of primary and secondary data from other government and non-governmental departments;
5) To establish, supply and ensure the development of skilled manpower in the establishment of training academy and statistics;
